A lot of the books I want to read are still on hold at the library, so catching up on books I already own…. and I found 2 more at the library 😬 I made a video on TikTok, so here are all the links!
- Beartown by Fredrik Backman: listening to the audiobook on Libby. Honestly, I was surprised this was available because it’s pretty popular on BookTok, so I went for it. Wish I was reading it with snow on the ground ha
- Also happened to be available from Libby: A Man Called Ove by the same author. This is always floating around the internet, too, so I thought, now’s the time!
- Gods of Jade and Shadow has been in my house since 2019, and I don’t know why I haven’t started it sooner. Got mine through Book of the Month
- Anything is Possible by Elizabeth Strout: Obviously Olive Kitteridge was not available, but this one sounded good
- Friends and Strangers by J. Courtney Sullivan: Still on hold for The Cliffs (but maybe I’ll wait out the hype on this one?) so reading this one for now! Also a Read with Jenna pick
- A Little Hope: Bought this one for the fall colors back in 2021 through Book of the Month.
- The Maidens: got this one because of this Book of the Month IG recommendation. I liked The Silent Patient, so I think I’ll like this one, and sounds good for fall
- The Creative Habit: I’m a writer, so always reading books like this one! I think this is considered a classic for artists
- The Anxious Generation: Lots of hype around this one, but Henry’s not getting a phone for a lo0o0ong time, and I honestly think we should take away kids phones ASAP. Interested to see what the book has to say.
Already read 5 books this month, and going to see how many more I can get through… this is more than I thought was on the list, so some will definitely roll over. Let’s see how it goes.
What are you reading this month?
@itsdaniellewilson September TBR: i know its halfway through the month, but theres still some time to get good reading in! And my list has changed because books i wanted werent available from the library right away… Always catching up on my BOTM, but thats why its great, because you always have something to read! #booktok #septembertbr #tbrlist ♬ original sound – daniellew1228
