How much of the day are you plugged in? Do you consciously set aside offline time, or does it happen whenever it happens?
I’m almost always plugged in. 99% of my job involves emailing, and I love keeping up with friends on Instagram and Twitter outside of work.
I don’t purposely set aside offline time, sometimes I’m just busy with other things and I don’t check my phone – usually weekends. I use internet/ social media to keep in touch, not avoid people. I don’t think it’s necessary to disconnect in order to work well and talk to people. Just need to learn balance 🙂
