Tell us about your writing space. Where do you write your blog posts?
My writing space changes depending on where I am and what I’m doing. Right now, I’m sitting in my bed, writing several posts and scheduling quickly because I’m busy for the next few nights.
Sometimes I sit at my craft cabinet/desk and write, sometimes I’m on the couch (doesn’t last long if I actually want to write, because I end up watching TV and browsing pinterest). A lot of times I’m on the bus – it’s a whole hour that I shouldn’t be wasting!
Writing on the bus is complicated, though. If I sit on the aisle, then anyone behind me can view my laptop. Then, the bus jostles its passengers as it weaves through traffic. Or I end up carsick. In the end, the bus is my favorite option because it doesn’t take away from time at home, but it’s one of the most difficult options.
In college, I would just sit on the couch, play some Christmas music, and write or research for class. I could sit in a cubicle at the library for a few hours and ignore everyone around me. Starbucks was easily accessible. I miss those days… hmmm.
That’s the great thing about blogging! and laptops or ipads. you can write when you want, where you want. The flexibility of the digital age is fantastic 🙂
