Fitbit

A few weeks ago, I bought a fitbit flex. I have to admit that my first consideration was that it’s cheaper than the nike fuelband. The more I researched, I decided I really liked the ability to change the wristbands and the sleep monitoring feature. THEN I found out that fitbit is working with Tory Burch to make a fashion wristband/ bracelet and I was sold. I can’t wait for it to come out so I can wear something nicer for work and with other fun bracelets.

Favorite things about the FitBit Flex:

  1. Interchangeable bands – Any color you want! and soon a great design from Tory Burch
  2. The user dashboard and app – love all the data and the integration with myfitnesspal
  3. Sleep monitoring – just a cool feature
  4. Community – My company has a group, and I’ve had fun getting to know people just by talking about steps and active minutes. It’s small right now, but since I work for Tory Burch I’m sure it will get bigger once we release the new wristband

FYI – somewhere I got the idea that this was a heart-rate monitor as well… but it’s not. just a fancy pedometer. The Fuelband isn’t a heart-rate monitor either, so don’t be fooled 🙂

*this isn’t any kind of sponsored post. I just really wanted to share my experience!

Can’t wait for the new designer bracelet to be released!

so many ways to track your activity! love knowing how much I actually move throughout the day. I did not share the day that I sat at my desk from 7am-5pm. Almost no steps.

yea i know I’m an old lady who goes to sleep super early.
