My ceremony was absolutely perfect 🙂 I thought it was a great “winter wedding” without having too much holiday… the music was fantastic – thanks to my piano teacher, Mrs. Marine, who really coordinated everything. My friends and family sang/ played beautifully…
For some reason, I could not remember what came next the entire time I was on stage. Fortunately, everyone else knew when they were supposed to sing or talk, because I did not know what was going on.
Also, Eric’s grandparents from SC weren’t able to make it because of a snow storm… but his aunt facetime-d the whole thing for them! Technology keeps people connected!
[huge_it_gallery id=”5″]Jamie sang “Beneath the Cross of Jesus” while we lit the unity candle, and Stefanie played viola….
Beneath the cross of Jesus
His family is my own—
Once strangers chasing selfish dreams,
Now one through grace alone.
How could I now dishonor
The ones that You have loved?
Beneath the cross of Jesus
See the children called by God.
“Beneath the cross of Jesus—
The path before the crown—
We follow in His footsteps
Where promised hope is found.
How great the joy before us
To be His perfect bride;
Beneath the cross of Jesus
We will gladly live our lives.”
And they lived happily ever after……
