Bridesmaids’ Dresses and Gifts

So I’m super excited about my bridesmaids’ gifts, or at least part of their gifts. Some of the girls are traveling pretty far (SC to NJ) to be in my wedding, and I wanted to get them something cute and different. I decided that after my sister and I finalized the dress style, I would send their gifts with all the purchasing information (I realized that
ordering them from a boutique in NJ would be the best for everyone because the state doesn’t have clothing tax).

on the back of the boutique’s business card, I listed the measurements they needed and the ordering deadline. Then I wrote a note about why I was thankful for each of them specifically as a friend and how I couldn’t wait to see them 🙂 I really do miss these girls. It’s hard going from seeing them every day to being all by myself in NJ (ok, I have my fiance and my parents so I’m not completely alone).

Anyway, the hangers are the really awesome part. The one in the picture is mine, obviously. Then I made hangers for each of the girls with their names in the middle. I thought it would be appropriate to send with the dress information 🙂 I know they’ll all be able to use a hanger in general, but they’ll all be using them as we get ready on the wedding day! Then I’ll buy them the shawls for the dresses from the city, and maybe another small gift.

This is the bridesmaid dress I decided on (well, Stef really decided lol but I think it will look great too):

Alfred Angelo 7207

Well that was my bridesmaid dress journey: glad we went with this instead of the David’s Bridal choices…

Buying my bridesmaids’ gifts was one of my favorite parts of my wedding, and picking out the dresses was my least favorite! 😉
